Second Funding

Immutep S.A. announced today the closing in December of a second financing of €2.5 million ($3.25 million) taking the total amount raised externally by the Company to €5 million ($6.5 million). The proceeds will be used to take the Company’s lead product, IMP321, into Phase I/II clinical trials in the second quarter of 2005. IMP321 is a potent natural human T cell immunostimulatory factor designed to amplify the T cell immune response required to kill tumours and infected cells.
